Getting car insurance coverage in NJ is one of the most obnoxious, painful, god-awful wastes of time that I've ever encountered. Consider: I have been looking at places for 3 weeks, come close to getting insurance 3 times, and I'm STILL uninsured. The whole NJ attitude I encounter when on the phone with people is not helping either.
